Italian Playboy Centerfold Francesca Lukasik Hits the Beach (lensed by OyOy)
So, I got a call from Italy asking to set up a session for me to photograph Italian model, actress (La Pupa e il Secchione), and two-time Playboy centerfold (in the Italia and Singapore editions) Francesca Lukasik. It did not take very much deliberation to decide to make some time for this. Francesca comes from nearby Venice in the Veneto region of Italy, and is very well known in the country not only for her glamour modeling and television work but also for her passionate support of Italian football (soccer) – in particular the AC Milano club, but also her endorsements by companies such as Ducati (motorbikes).
A few outtakes from the shoot after the jump, all safe for work.
This shot was actually at the very end of our day which we finished on Key Biscayne. The setting sun was warm and golden, very low in the sky behind us. We finished up with this series and then headed back to South Beach for apperitivo (we had beer and fries at Big Pink!) and to talk about the differences in life between Italy and the USA.
It is iconic in Miami bikini shoots to pose in front of one of the multicolored lifeguard towers. Francie looks great of course, but we decided to try to make it just a little bit different and get some action and motion into the image. It is not easy to get a great picture – due mostly to the glaring Miami sunshine – but we were able to pull off a nice image here.
This shot is actually part of my “Alleycat” series, which are taken in the back alleyways of Miami-South Beach. The alleys are the service roads behind the buildings where all the non-glamour of life in South Beach takes place. The electrical and gas connections, trash and dumpsters, services and parking. Here Francesca shows off new shoes and a new bikini in style.
I didn’t want only bikini pictures of Francesca, so I decided to have her wear a simple top with her jean shorts to show off her great boots. This is also an Alleycat shot, we had to move the dumpsters out of the way to get a nice backdrop of this beautiful tree in one of the alleys on South Beach.
